Crimson Spheres

There are a total of 10 Crimson Spheres to be obtained throughout the game. These spheres allow you to enter the Den of Woe, located on the bottom level of Mushroom Rock Road. This cave is a very special place. There are no items within the Den, but you get to fight a series of very interesting battles against fiends or should we say your friends! That's right, within this Den is the true representation of Woe, as there is no worse feeling than attacking your own friends. Well, unless they have absolutly fabulous items, then it's ok. You get to fight Rikku,, Paine, Baralai, Gippal, and Nooj, but be warned, Yuna must endure the Woe alone.

CRIMSON SPHERE LOCATIONS
Crimson Sphere Chapter Location
Sphere 1 3 Found on the ground in the Vegnagun's room after clearing the area.
Sphere 2 3 Obtain directly after defeating Ixion
Sphere 3 3 Obtain directly after defeating Ixion
Sphere 4 3 Obtained from a chest in Leblanc's treasure room (where you fought them in Chapter 2) within the Chateau.
Sphere 5 4 Obtained from Leblanc after te 1000 Words concert.
Sphere 6 5 Obtained form a man on entering Cloister 0 in Bevelle.
Sphere 7 2 Received by visiting the Den of Woe after the chocobo event on the Mi'ihen Highroad, regardless of your alliance with either New Yevon or the Youth League
Sphere 8 5 Obtained from completing Cloister 20 in Bevelle.
Sphere 9 1 Received upon reaching the Den of Woe during the Foggy Fiend Frenzy Mission at Mushroom Rock Road.
Sphere 10 2 Received upon finding it in Ormi's room within Chateau Leblanc during the infiltration of the Syndicate's hideout.

I really can't!! :((

I'v tried killing tht gr8er drake about 5 bloody times! I cnt kill it. Wat lvl do u hav 2 b 2 kill it becuz Yuna is lvl40 Rikku is 41 and Paine is 42 :(( Som1 plz help me 'n' gimme som advice on the gr8er drake 'n' how 2 kill it... :((

Greater Drake

Umm greater drake shouldnt be a problem for levels over 30... Just cast protect and beat the hell out of 'em.

It kills me

It kills me in 1 shot 4 all of 'em... eny other advice? if it can kill me in 1 shot... am i doing somthing wrong?

Greater or elder?

Are you talking about Elder Drake? If so, it is on if the toughest fiends in the game. Your levels should be around 60 if your fighting it...

okay.
First of be at least lvl.60 + otherwise its gonnna be EXTREAMLY HARD.
a good method would be to just go for the full lvl.99 and have 9999 health.

either way.
jack up your health using key to success / mythril bangle ect..
after that put on any accessories that equip 60% def. increase.

now there are TWO ways you can do this.
IF YOU HAVE CAT NIP
equip one gunner and yellow there health, and tigger happy.
have you other two as either: 2 dark knights(knights can be subsituted with beserkers) (one with white mage abilities) OR one dark knight and one white mage.

have someone cats protect on you gunner and dark knight and them themself.
Your dark knight is responsible for healing and pheonix downing.
if your knight dies use mage to restore immidiatly. and make sure that you always have your gunner yellowed.

2 trigger happy's and its dead.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE CAT-NIP
have either 3 darknights (one with white mage abilities) OR 2 dark knights and one white mage.
have them all equiped the same as above. equip spirnt shoes or haste bangles to all.
have mage cast protect and reflect on all.
and then use dar knights to heal/revive and continually use dark sky.

ok im in the cloister and im just running around not knowing what the heck im doing. and how the heck do u beat the great drake or whatever it is in cloiser...3, mayby 4? i dnt like him...
whoa way off, hes in level 21. opps...

The cloister is the labrynth beneathe bevelle.
if you go to the room to you right upon entering the bevelle temple.(the one where you firts meet baralai)
you fidn the kinderguardians (pacce, hana, taro) and then show you a blu yevon symbol that acts as a teleport, steppign o nthis will take you right into the cloister. = ]]

Den of Woe...

Oh my god... I fought Rikku and Paine... The Den of Woe.. Shuyin uses his pyreflies to possess them.... i know it's just a video game.. But i felt so bad about it... At least I got the Magical Dances Volume, now Yuna can master Songstress! -She masters Songstress.- Yay!!! lol

Baralai's sphere

It's technically not a crimson one, but it sure helps why he's so demented. It's a good watch and gives a bit of info that's interesting.
You get it after Tromell becomes the new leader for the Guado when they move back in Guadosalam. He gladly welcomes you inside the room that has been nagging at you forever. The damn one that's been locked all the time-near the path to the Farplane.
You also get a garment grid for talking to the little Guado boy who lives in there who befriended the two Ronso boys. (I think it depends on where you tell them to go when you bump into them at the Thunder Plains in...chapter 4 I think....)

When you get all crimson spheres

If you want to know what will happen if you get all the crimson spheres AND TAKE THEM TO THE DEN OF WOE then read this......... At the starting, pyrflies will come bursting out of nowhere, and you will have to fight your own teammates!!! Rikku and Paine!!! for some reason. then you will fight the three leaders, gippal, bararlai, and nooj. You can learn a blue bullet from gippal and baralai so get ready. Stupid Crimson Spheres

If you like miss a crimson sphere will it tottaly affect your game and mess you up? Also if you missed it, do you have a chance to get it again?

Spheres--missed

Don't worry--when you finish the game just reload the file and you get to start over. (mag. info-didn't actually do it yet) You will still have all the points and weapons you ended with-cool huh?

Say if you ended at level 45 or whatever and had really cool weapon attachments like cerulean ring or white ring and stuff--when you reload the file-(supposedly)-you will have all of that-you just restart the story and get anything you missed or never completed(as in side missions)

Warning--this is a magizine article information. I have not officially done it yet to see if it works.

Crimson spheres

Wow this is so seriously delayed...

Anyways, you probably already figured this out by now but in case there are any other confused newbies out there - it is not important that you find all the crimson spheres...i think. you will get episode complete in mushroom rock road BUT
you are missing out on a really cool experience where paine acts EMOTIONAL...unbelievable...
Not to mention a CG scene where you get to see the video from 'one thousand words' with actual conversation...kinda.

Crimson sphere 4

Its in the room in chateau leblanc where there is the sphere navigator thingy (the glowy transparent ball with pink blue stuff floating around inside). you have to go inside, then behind the door on yuna's left. there you can climb on some boxes and go all the way to the end where you will find the sphere.

Sorry for taking so long...
Oh and finding all the spheres is worth it. at least i think so. is so emotional inside the den of woe.

YOU'RE RIGHT. YOU HAVE TO SEARCH IN THE TABLE AND ABOUT THE ONE IN THE TREASURE ROOM, YOU HAVE TO JUMP IN SOME BOXES AND WALK ON THE UPPER LEDGE TO RIGHT AND OPEN A CHEST.
