well he was the the old husband of enders wife, he had a desies that was slowly killing him, he beat his famly mostly because he new that the children wernt his. And when ender told the story everyone new it to be true. Plus the speach reveld that Miro and Ouanda were brother and sister so they couldent be lovers.

Well after seeing that he was up against two (or was it more than 2?) armys.... he kinda gave up and let bean do what he wanted. He didnt expect them to win. Bean used a cord that they used to propel themselfs around and made them move faster. This allowed them to rush the gate and win the battle before it the meambers of the team had beeb frozen
