Anybody else play this game? I bought it yesterday and it's alright I guess. It's a fighting game though.

Anyone else play it?

I demo'ed it at walmart on my luch break. Only reason I play it is to kick sasuke's ***.

Like it was rated, its way too easy. Most of the moves are too easy, its only the combos that are even remotely hard.

And they are as easy as:

down B A B B B B B
B A A B B B B B
(while running) B A B B B B

Plus when they did it, it was in the "Believe it!" dubbing.

That right there is enough to turn me off when watching it.

Good thing I cant hear the sounds and such in walmart when playing it.

I have played it and there is a difficulty level 4 which makes it a slight bit harder... still easy though... lol

I haven't played this one but I've played GNT!3 and 4 (Japanese versions). I must say, from a fighting game standpoint, the game is WAAAAAAAAAAY too easy to play. You can get by just by using A and B and the occasional super move. Combos do waaaay too much damage for their ease of execution and supers being unblockable is very offputting. Obviously all this stuff doesn't matter if you're a Naruto fan because that's who that game is made for. Looks like North America is behind on this series because everywhere else is playing the 4th game.

lol the super attacks are blockable. I block them all of the time.

Not all of them are. Real-time supers (the ones where you can still move when the opponent performs them) are blockable whereas the other ones aren't. I'm going off of experience of GNT!3 and 4, but I'm dead sure that in the later games, EVERY character has at least one unblockable super. I've played the later ones a lot and there's no doubt about it.

The second game is out. The North American scene still has 2 more installments to catch up on. Wheather they will be on Gamecube or not is still up in the air.

The third one, from what a lot of the fans say, is the worst of the series so far. So I wouldn't really count on it. :S

the battles are harder in clash of ninja 2. that is definately true after you get into the story line. Like when I had to battle Gaara that actually made me put both hands on the controler and do something other and push b over and over ha ha. When I battled neji with hinata I owned his ass, but I was falling asleep when Naruto had to battle him.... needless to day... neji's skill went way up and he handed my ass to me ha ha. His chakra meter refills too fast. He hits you like 3 times and it's full and he is countering everything you do

I've played both american versions and the other 3 which are in japanese as well and I'd have to say they're cool, I personally prefer the japanese ones because I can play as Itachi instead of being limited to cliche characters(Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, etc.) If I were giving a buying suggestion, I'd say go with NCON:2 until the other 3 come out where you are, 2 has the most characters on the ones that are out and believe it or not it's got a bit better graphics, a better storyline, etc.
