STUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, im in chapter 3 and i was following sum stupid walkthrough and i did everything except go to kilika island to activate the hotspots in besaid and djose temple. The problem is, i cant get to kilika!!! i've walked all over the place and i can NOT find a way to get on mi airship!!! all of the save points only give me 2 options: save, cancel. I'd really apreciate the help
