What to expect

This seems absurd. It's now gonna be for a Wii console? Nintendo, wut Oo.
Looking past the weirdness, it's pretty cool and I think this director's cut might offer a new experience, played on the Wii U and with additional content. The graphical enhancement is a little surprising. That game never really needed to be upscaled. It's pretty damn good looking on PS3.
Oh well, no complains, only praise. I don't think there's a trophy system involved with this game either, meaning there probably doesn't need to be more than 1 playthrough.

Rather excited about this, but I don't own the Wii U, so... Damn, there's going to be a lot of consoles I need to get in relative quick succession.

It won't sell much so I bet there will be ports to PS3/4 just a matter of time lol

Hadn't thought about that possibility; Director's Cut being released for other consoles. Would make sense for PS3, since the original version came out on that console.
You could be right, but who knows. The way they market this game as Wii U only for now, is unusual.
