    999 and Virtues Last Reward

    999 For the DS

And Virtues Last Reward for the 3DS/Vita

My god. I've never played a game series that gets you so invested in the story like this before. I highly recommend playing these two games (999 first, then Virtues Last Reward)

I can't really describe much about the game without spoiling anything, and really hope you guys give it a shot.

I just beat Virtues Last Reward yesterday and I yearn for more.

I've only played through 999 once so far, and I really like it. The ending I got made me jump, because I was not expecting what happened.

    Spoiler: SPOILER

If I get a 3DS or Vita, Virtues Last Stand is definitely on the list of games I want for it. As well as the third game, when it is finished.

Oh man, that's the first ending I got too.

At that point I recommend googling how to get each of the other endings and seeing all the arcs.

It a really fantastic journey, and the fast forward button makes things much easier.

I figure the ending changes depending on which doors you go through along the way, and all I know is that in order to get the good/true ending, you first have to get a specific bad ending. I picked Door 5, and then Door 1.

I had my dry erase board filled with information on the playthrough. Character locations and information on if they were alive or not, combinations that would make the most amount of people live, etc.

    To be honest:

    Spoiler: SPOILER

I wish they had shown more of the deaths of The 9th Man and "Snake". The game was given a M-rating, the least they could have done was shown the bodies. But I guess they had to tone it down because handheld games are quite popular with younger gamers.

I felt that way too when I got the ending.

But the story is told through all story arcs, including the bad endings. The true ending will still have a lot of plot holes if you don't get all the endings.

I recommend getting the true ending last. The buildup of suspense is great.
