I'm gonna admit that was pretty amazing. I want more, and it's not even official SE o_O. Looked so awesome. The horrible-looking DoA chars versus the awesomely animated FF characters (though the animation done in this specific case obviously was fan-made and not as cool as the original but for fan-work this is truly something). At one point I felt a bit it was like those stick-figure fights which I kinda disliked even though I loved the old stick fight movies oO...

But again, like I said, I really liked this. Bookmarked it even. I'm waiting for the sequel. I want more!

Yea, I have to say, I orgasmed a few times there.

I mean, at first, I didn't get what it was. Yuna running around. Suddenly she's attacked by Kasumi and Ayane? WTF? But yea, Rikku comes in, steal, kick ass. They try to cheat with Hitomi... <3, but yea, Tifa interjection. End of. Now, I just want 2 to come out.

Like KoFF, so Favorited that one.

Loved how Rikku owned both Kasumi and Ayane and it took Hitomi's crazy strength to save those Tecmo girls. Now, they just need special attacks. Trigger Happy <3. Tecmo doesn't stand a chance... though Hitomi is hawt. ^.^

Alright, the second part is out now. Dead Fantasy II. I watched it about a week ago and thought it should be posted now. I must say, it's rare that I think a sequel succeeds it's predecessor, but I might just say that it actually happened this time.

GAAAAAH. It blew my mind. I'm more or less a fan of these vids and they're fan-made which is so unlike me... In the beginning I thought it looked like it wouldn't be as good. The animation didn't seem as good and the tricks were too fighting-game rip-offs (same goes for sound and cry-outs). Howeverm after the first 30-60 secs, it just gets so cool. Really loved many things about it. Unique battles, like when they were fighting while falling. The real Potions during the lava-trip. Not in-game potions, but the real ones you can buy in real life.

Another thing was the magics introduced. There was slowga/Stopga and Hastega, Demi, Tornado, and much more. Crazy FF magics of all sorts, put brilliantly to use. Unique character-moves as well. Like when Yuna shoot a rain of energy-bullets on top of the building.

Then there's the music. It fits with the movie all the way. So well done.

Then... Rinoa oO... She's like, GOD . Seriously, she rules everything in that vid. Gunblade, Pinwheel, Angel Wings, Sorceress powers ><. She seems like the new leader now (whereas Tifa took over in the ending of the first Dead Fantasy.

Then we had Kairi introduced which was another big surprise seeing as she's from KH. She wasn't shown much but she sure knew some hardcore moves. The Dead or Alive characters got wiped good in this video, imo. It's clear FF has the higher ground now. I hope the next Episode will be just as good, not to talk about just as long because this time the video was pretty long. Felt like more than the 10 min it lasted, lol.

This is juts plain ridiculous. Im sorry but these fights are far better than even advent children and matrix combined. How long does it take this guy to make these? If only I had a way to burn these onto dvds so I could watch it on tv

I don't think they are better than AC but it's the most unique and masterfully created fan-fight I've ever seen... It's unusual to see THAT many original ideas in just one fighting-movie. But some movies are sorta ripoffs from other fighting games... Well, most of the moves in common. The generic moves. But there's also a lot of original moves of course. Other than being ripoffs from fighting games, they also seem very much like those stick-figure fights, Xiao Xiao.

It's not a problem though. By far, most looks extremely cool and is highly entertaining. It would make awesome cutscenes in a game, it's that good. Of course the graphics would have to be better if it was for a game, but I kinda like it this way, so it should just stay this way =).

And I imagine the guy who makes them must spend a lot of time on them... Can't be easy to make these fast.

I do agree that this is better than AC, though. Of course, can you compare? This is totally fighting which then spams moves none of the characters are actually capable of. I mean, Tifa's good, but she's not running across lava any time soon. xD

It's more flash, but flash is great for amateur stuff. I only complain that this is obviously a FFVIII fanboy as Rinoa is nearly invincible. xD Talk about your power spam. Not sure about the Lolita Rikku, though. =\
