Crystalis Elementare: The Second Awakening

“Time to even the score a bit shall we.” Xero said as a gust of wind suddenly trapped Teresa and Clesis.
“Cage of Thor!” Xero said, “Blades of wind that wouldn’t necessarily harm you unless you touch it.”

Clesis grabbed a stick and threw it at the Cage of Thor, the power of the wind incinerated the branch to dust.
”2 vs 1 is this supposed to be fair.”
“Shadow Technique: Tachi Waza” Xero shouted as he suddenly appeared trying to strike me. I dodged however as I did Xero’s shadow came from behind towards me and tried to strike at me. I barely dodged the attack cutting my thigh.
Rei grabbed his burning sword and made an effort to return the attack however Xero had already casted another spell, “Shadow Technique: Seigan.”
Instantly, Xero and his shadow combined together to strike Rei. The power of the strike launched Rei back. He suddenly lost grip of his sword as it fell from his grip.
“Rei! I shouted.

I grabbed out my spear and said, ”So you wanna fight fair, fine we will show you how Elite AAF soldiers fight.”

I nodded at Rei who stood up grabbing his sword, ”I guess we have to sync our CE.
”Lets do this!
We both suddenly began to charge our CE and quickly they were synchronized.
“Twin Eye!” We both shouted as we both rushed into the attack.

“Twin Eye!” Teresa asked Clesis.
Clesis was grinning since he knew what was in store, ”It is a special technique that some of us can perform Rei and Sarina have good magic potential to perform this technique. It will drain their CE quickly but when they strike they strike as one and share the same vision, thoughts, and emotions. “
As Clesis was finished explaining Twin Eye to Teresa we were able to knock Xero back with a slight trace of blood on his lips. He grinned as he said, “Amusing, now this is a fair fight.”

Using Twin Eye was disorienting for anyone the first time they use it. It looks like you’re seeing two different images at the same time. Also having two different sets of thoughts in your head increases the discomfort till it’s been rumored that people went insane from using it.

I charged straight in, Sarina closing in the distance as well. Xero blocked our combined strike and dodged the kick when I was close enough but Sarina threw a punch at him. He was able to catch it but was blown back when I grabbed Sarina’s pistol from her holster. Xero stumbled back as I charged forward, clashing with his swords again. He used his strength to push me back and I fell backwards just as several railgun rounds flew right over me and into Xero. Sarina dropped the railgun as I used both legs to kick Xero in the chest, sending him flying into rubble.

“Damn you! Shadow..” Xero said, trying to use another of his techniques. I grabbed his outstretched arm as just as he began to point in our direction. I broke his arm at the joint and Sarina struck him from the back. Xero gasped as I threw him over my shoulder and embedded a flame blade before kicking him across the room.

‘Is it over yet? No it’s not over by a long shot,’ was my and Sarina’s though. I could see the rubble shift as Xero slowly rose. I dashed at him, Sarina alongside as we began another round.

As we both charged forward for our next assault, Xero suddenly charged at us with not one but two shadows with him. For some strange reason two Xero was able to create another shadow of himself.
”Must have summoned shadows without us knowing.”
The shadows split off attacking each of us, we both quickly dodged the shadows making our way towards Xero, however I suddenly stopped as more shadows began to emerge from Xero. As if he was multiplying himself.
All of a sudden I felt a strange pain in my head. The effects of the twin eye were beginning to seep into my mind.
I could hear Rei’s voice as he shouted, ”We cannot hold out much longer we need to strike quickly, or else we will lose our minds.
I quickly grabbed my spear and began to charge it with electrical current preparing myself for a jump attack.
Rei did the same as he grabbed his sword and charged it up.
”One strike is all we have”let us send this bastard to hell.
We both ran back from Xero and his shadows that began to multiply. There wasn’t much time.
“Even if I use the last of my power to kill you, that will give Lord Cedric time to fulfill our destiny,” Xero shouted as he clasped his arm,”You humans disgust me.”
