I feel like starting the game all over again and die at least 10.000 times.

It's a bit hard to explain just how it works, but if it's what I think, every white light represents a point at which a player has died on the Isle of Panau. The shapes and terrain seen represents the actual terrains these deaths happened at, so in essence, this is data gathered from hell of a lot JC2 gamers with exact points of deaths in the areas shown.
Very complicated piece of art, but who's to say if it's the real deal. Like someone commented on the site, it's hard to believe that the points of death are all so evenly spaced compared to each other, unless the game developers actually bothered creating a map consisting of that many points to register deaths (which then counts towards the nearest official deathpoint)
But you really could quite literally die at any point in the game. Such a wonderful and entertaining game to die in. A trait I associate a lot with Eidos, lol.
