The Last Remnant PS3 release may still be possible

Granted, not that many here are that interested in the title, but if you remember back when it was released for X-Box 360, then later PC, but it was never released for PS3 and some (mainly me here) really were bothered by that fact and waited an eternity for what was promised. Anyway, SE never wrote off the game and during interviews they just replied that they had a lot of things to tend to, never officially canceling the release or giving hope for a release either. It was a project left in limbo.

But now there's this (go to the main site if the link doesn't work, since linking from that site seems to fail a lot these days).

Basically, the game is listed on Famitsu's list over anticipated games, among titles like FFXIII-2 and Type-0.

So there is still hope for those who still care. Like the article states, it COULD just be Famitsu insinuating that they are hoping for it to come, since the release was never cancelled, but it could also be that Square is just taking their time. Look at Versus for reference .

It received pretty mixed reviews. Most of the hurt was about the gameplay and the game pace... A lot of the negative stuff was enhanced or "fixed" for the PC version though.

Own it for PC but never got very much into it. Watched some footage for the console once and it looked pretty shit though (terrible lag). They probably realised it was not worth the time / money to release it for PS3, and that was probably a good call as well.
