I just wrote down the numbers and worked it out, figured it out in the Japanese version and then did the same in the English one.

I do the process of elimination eventually I get to the answer, 6 tends to lead onto only one number so I try not to delete that number it leads onto.

Make sure to use those smilies otherwise full blown arguements can start!
There are 2 kinds of this mini-game. The timed ones that have random numbers every time and the ones that you have unlimited time for solving and always remain the same even when restarting.
I liked the variety in that. I didn't use any calculator and didn't write anything done. Sort of just did it based on what I thought made sense, lol. I didnt sit down and try to calculate each one before starting. I rather ran onto a random number and just tried from there, and when there was half or less left of the marks, I would stand still for a bit and see how I could get all the rest without randomly stepping on them. So it was part strategy, part quick elimination.
Of course with the ones that didn't have a timer, I would start out the same way but not take out as many numbers before I start planning my next moves. With every failed attempt, I'd spend less time eliminating random fields... So in the end I figured exact patterns to follow from the start.

I thought they were easy.
I'm the only one it would seem.
There's an app out for the iPhone which makes it very easy to solve those "clock" Hands pf Time puzzles. It's called Hands of Time helper and you can find it in the app store. It's free. No Adds. No strings attached. Just a free app to help you guys get through those puzzles quicker.
Here's the link to it: http://itunes.apple.com/app/hands-of...515847917?mt=8
