May's final batches of DLC

I look forward to seeing the costumes and how they will be handled for this Final Fantasy, considering they are usually robe outfits or similar. Spira fans might be happy to read about the White Mage costume in the article.

It's nice to have some names and flesh on the Lightning chapter, but it's all still Japanese translations/versions, lol.

Armored Lightning? Really? I take that she is added automatically after completing the episode, like with Sazh in Heads or Tails. Either way, apparantly it wasn't fucked enough to have XIII Lightning join, lol. So now we can have a monster team of 2 Lightnings? Another question is if she will be like the XIII Lightning or if she is stronger or otherwise proportioned differently.
Most of all I just wonder if her joining the team will be completely story-related because it pretty much changes a lot of things in terms of how the story goes, and how does she even get to join the team if the episode is set in the events leading right up to the ending? o.O. Interesting stuff.

Mog costumes... Now? Only now? I have honestly thought about costumes for Mog, so I'm not completely shocked. Just not sure why they'd only release them now other than for final DLC blowout purposes.
I'm gonna love this! My only hope is that they either come with another DLC pack or come as a collection pack. I can however see SE releasing them one by one in a PSN category of its own, as if it was PSN avatars at low prices each.

Them costumes are pretty darn sexy. I don't think Serah's costume is all that much like in X-2 despite the previous article's description. But it's definitely one of the very most sexy White Mage versions I have seen. vruf! Black mage is modernized as well, and I find the outcome both fresh and cool-looking. Awesome spin on the franchise costume.

Huh o.o. Not only is the Snow DLC, character costume DLC and Mog outfit DLC out now, but the Lightning DLC is also released with it. I thought Requiem of the Goddess would be next week or 2 weeks from now. So I guess this will be the final batch of DLC? All at one... *foamfoamfoam*!!

And the prices on the story DLC are pretty good imo

The costumes are pretty expensive to make up for that though, lol.

Noel, Serah and the Mog pack are around £1.6 each (so the Mog outfits are indeed group into one, which is great and not expensive at all for that reason). The Snow and Light DLC sell for more or less £2.6.

All in all, I'm not complaining. It was a good surprise, so it's time to download and get to business!



On an unrelated side-note, the first Deus Ex has also been released on PSN now o.o... My strategy was to wait for the SE brand to fall upon it, ho ho.

All this DLC makes me really wonder why SE hasn't been putting a bunch of resources to re-making and updating FF7. I mean, can you imagine how many MORE spinoffs they would make? At least 5 related to it, no?

I'm ready for more FFVII, lol. I also still remember that old layout they had, showing other FFVII projects they had plans to make but that never were told of since. Wonder if they scrapped the ideas or still plan to release them at some point. They may be planning to give this a go when they reach the 20th anniversary, which is how long they estimated FFVII to live. I still have my old theory that they will release (or announce) the FFVII remake in 2017, lawl. But yeah, more FFVII is welcome in my book.

Do you mean Type-0? Was called Agito before... And we're not likely to see a Western release anytime soon (if ever).
