So I'm getting some money from an insurance settlement. The woman says I can only use about $600, would prefer me to get closer to $500 for a new computer or building a new computer. Halp?

If you want a quality computer, pitch in some money of your own. If you want something that's shit with little RAM, spend the $500. eBay has some deals like that, but I really don't know which direction to point you towards.

You can build a decent comp for $500. Look up parts on newegg or something like that. Look for deals and such

hmm look up the graphic cards and stuff and see how well they do.. when i bought my laptop i found out that the older version actually had a better graphics card for gaming...

why? because you can... well with my laptop i did it cos I didnt have enough ram... so I bumped it from 2gb ram to 8gb ram =p stupid operating systems taking up most of the ram...

(but yea idk if people actually need more ram but it just sounds kool to say =p)
