Emily
It had all started a few days ago when I received a letter from my cousin Hailey urging me to return to Silent Hill. At first I was very skeptical on how genuine the letter was considering the countless attempts The Order have made to drag me back into their cult to take the role of head priestess for which my entire childhood from birth was geared towards. It would have just seemed like another attempt at luring me back using my cousin's name as bait.
But something deep down made me think twice though, like a small sixth sense I have telling me that this might have been real. I had to make sure either way, if it was from Hailey then it really was urgent and I would have to face my fear and return to that hell hole. I had to go to the Freedom HQ to check for it's authenticity, they would know if it was real or not considering the little contact we were allowed with each other had to go through them.
"Emily what brings you here after all this while?" John head of Freedom asked as I walked into his office.
"It's this letter." I replied handing the letter over "It claims to be from Hailey, at first glance I was skeptical but then I had that feeling I get sometimes making me think this is true."
John read over the letter carefully before walking out of the office for a while, my nerves started to take hold of me and my mind started to wander thinking all the possibilities. What if it is a trap and I don't go but they come to me, what if it is real and I don't go what would happen to Hailey? My worries did not last long as John returned with some expert on hand writings.
Well Emily, its official this letter was from your cousin. The handwriting is spot on in comparison to the rest of your cousins letters. Also they have never addressed you by that name.
I see. I replied rising from my chair taking the letter and walking towards the exit. Well Ill be going then.
Wait you are not thinking of going back there, after everything they put you through? John said concerned holding onto my arm.
How can I not go, my cousin is there alone and I owe her for helping me get out of there. Plus we are only meeting in the observation deck that is just outside of town and barely under its influence. I reassured him, gently removing his hand. If it is a trap I can quickly escape the way I come in I should be fine.
I exited the office and jumped onto my motor bike and turned back to John taking the letter from his hand. Also the Order will not harm me, Remember in their eyes I am the head priestess. Too important to be caused direct harm on. I joked before speeding off in the direction of Silent Hill.
That was a few hours ago, now Im nearing what is the edge of Silent Hill. The clear skies had now started to turn foggy, I knew that this meant that I was not going to be in the normal sea side town and this was not going to be a quick in and out job something big was going to go down that I was to be involved with something big perhaps they knew of my arrival and this was a trap.
I soon made it to the observation deck car park as my bike cut out. It would seem that someone didnt want me to leave quickly and I was starting to believe this trip was a big mistake but there was no turning back now. I dismounted my now useless bike and started to walk to the far side of the deck towards where the benches are where there sat through the fog a face that seemed familiar from all those years ago. A little older and a more mature look in her eyes but there was no doubt of who she was, it was Hailey sitting there waiting like she said she would in the letter waiting for me.
I could hardly contain my excitement at seeing her again, I really wanted to just run up to her and give her a hug for our first meeting since we were separated after our escape. But deep down I realised it would not be appropriate for the situation or that she would even approve considering she is a marine now something like this might insult her, hell she may not even recognise me anymore. Instead I would be more dignified, I took off my crash helmet and ruffled my purple dyed hair a bit before walking up to her and saying. Hailey, long time no see cous. So what is so important that you dragged me to this hell whole, you miss me that much. I started, trying to stop myself rambling on while trying to stop myself grinning too much.
